Cathy Laub
Of utmost importance to me is building a strong therapeutic alliance that sets the stage for change. I use a variety of approaches to therapy including client-centered, child-centered play therapy, Attachment-Based Theory, Positive Psychology, Emotion-Focused, Interpersonal Process, EMDR, and CBT. I deeply appreciate working with my clients and learning effective and powerful ways to address problems that can stunt and paralyze a person’s growth and ability to function. It is exciting and rewarding to see people of all ages overcome obstacles that lead to healing and flourishing. I believe that we often focus on the negative, but it is just as essential to know, understand, and cultivate our strengths and resources. This is something I pursue with all of my clients.
