Trauma impacts our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I work with individuals who have relationship issues and a variety of mental health challenges such as trauma, depression, anxiety, identity issues and grief. Some of my main therapy modalities I use in treatment come from theories such as; EMDR therapy, Internal Family SystemsAcceptance and Commitment therapyPolyvagal theory and Attachment-Focused therapy.

My Story

As a Fort Wayne native, I am grateful to use my passion for counseling to serve the community I love. Since a young age, I have always wanted to help others in sorting through life's difficulties. I desire to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere. I help guide others in understanding their own story, seek to cultivate curiosity towards the self and others, and together discover the unique strengths of each individual. My desire for others is to live more authentically within themselves and in relationship with others. I view counseling as a collaborative process with my clients. I respect and value people from all different backgrounds, cultures, and worldviews.

For clients who are interested in integrating faith into counseling, I am Christian and love incorporating Scripture and other spiritual resources throughout the counseling process. My heart for people is for them to know the love of God in the face of deep suffering and struggles with sin. I desire to create a safe atmosphere where clients can be honest about their suffering, sin, doubts, and questions about God and help others learn how to depend fully on their true identity found in the Gospel. “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Roman 5:8). We all desire a love that pursues us and is unconditional, where our deepest wounds of shame and heartache can be healed. By God’s grace, I hope to be a source of support and encouragement in one’s relationship with God.

In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and friends, gardening outside, trying a new dinner recipe (always open to recommendations) or taking my dog Bluey for a walk outside.
