Brett Holder MA, LMFT
Individual and Couples Counseling

I am passionate about counseling because I believe there is real power in vulnerability. I want to walk alongside you as you process, heal, and grow. My goal isn't just to help you manage your symptoms, but to help you understand them, appreciate the ways they've protected you, and find new ways to get your needs met today. I believe healing is possible, no matter what your story is.

My Story

I hold a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan
University and work with children, teens, couples, and individuals. With individuals, I
primarily use EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Attachment Theory. With
couples, I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method. I
have experience working with individuals who are suffering from trauma, depression,
and anxiety, as well as couples navigating infidelity, communication, and intimacy.

EMDR Intensives

For those interested in going deeper, I offer EMDR Intensives — a concentrated format
that dedicates extended, uninterrupted time to trauma processing rather than spreading
the work across months of weekly sessions. Research shows that intensives can be just
as effective as traditional therapy, often with faster results. This may be a good fit if
you've felt stuck in weekly therapy, want to work through a specific trauma or memory,
or are ready to commit focused time to your healing journey. Intensives are available as
a full day (6 hours, $1,200), or two-day experience (12 hours, $2,400). Intensives
include a follow up session within 1-2 weeks. Reach out for more information or for a
free 15-minute consultation to see if this format feels right for you!

Outside of work, I enjoy volleyball, running, ice cream, and walks with my wife, two
sons, and our goldendoodle. I am a Christian and am happy to incorporate faith into
sessions if that's meaningful to you.
